A língua mais recente que comecei a estudar é o português! Eu tenho proficiência em leitura, entendo a maioria do português falado, mas estou apenas começando a praticar a fala. Felizmente, minha fluência em espanhol facilitou muito o aprendizado da gramática portuguesa.
Eu tento ler o máximo que posso em português. Por exemplo, para meu projeto de pesquisa sobre ONGs na Índia, optei por analisar uma ONG brasileira, que envolvia a verificação de seus relatórios financeiros, declaração de missão e metodologia. Eu definitivamente vou continuar praticando o português!
The most recent language I started to study is Portuguese! I have proficiency in reading, understand most of the spoken Portuguese, but I'm just beginning to practice speaking. Fortunately, my fluency in Spanish greatly facilitated the learning of Portuguese grammar.
I try to read as much as I can in Portuguese. For example, for my research project on NGOs in India, I chose to analyze a Brazilian NGO, which involved verifying its financial reports, mission statement and methodology. I will definitely continue practicing Portuguese!
